The Patron of Art Homage to Victoria & Albert Limited Edition is inspired by the iconic love story of Vittoria and Alberto, of which this romantic edition recalls history and passion for art.

Queen Victoria and Prince Consort Albert are remembered as two of Britain's most iconic monarchs. The golden love blossomed from the first meeting, which took place on the occasion of the 17th birthday of Princess Victoria, leading the royal couple to live a story that has remained emblematic. Over the years, the couple has often used art as a means of expressing the intensity of their feeling.

During her reign over the British Empire, known as the Victorian Era, Queen Victoria, together with Prince Albert, promoted a new era of innovation and growth. As avid supporters of the arts, they have linked their name to some of the UK's most celebrated cultural institutions and events, such as the legendary Great Exhibition of 1851 at the Crystal Palace in London, and the founding of the Royal Albert Hall and Victoria and Albert Museum, the world famous museum of art, design and performance.

The shape of the clip is inspired by the queen's scepter, set with a green stone that symbolizes her engagement ring. On the nib, handmade in Au750 solid gold, a stylized rose is embossed in homage to Vittoria, “rose of England”.

The motto engraved on the cap ring, “Treu und Fest” (faithful and firm) is inspired by Alberto's coat of arms, as is the embossing on the Au750 solid gold nib. The scepter-shaped clip is embellished with a red stone.
